Our Mission
ACERT responds to families, and especially children, in the wake of violence and connects them to appropriate trauma-informed supports and services in the community.
Our Vision
Build a strong and coordinated community partnership made up of close knit multi-disciplinary agencies and organizations focused on the safety and healthy development of children and their families.
SERVE
Promote trauma-informed training to first-responder populations & school staff to foster a competent, compassionate, and effective workforce around ACEs, trauma, and mitigation.​
LEARN
Provide direct support to families around Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and provide referral services in partnership with community agencies.
STRENGTHEN
Contribute to community awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences and aid in incorporating the program into an integrated support network in the local community and beyond.
